University Students

Welcome to Winchester

St Clements Surgery is based in the centre of the city of Winchester, within walking distance of the Winchester universities and popular student accommodation areas of Stanmore and Winnal, also very close to local transport links.

We are the longest standing established GP practice in Winchester and currently in the process of finalising plans to move into an exciting brand new, purpose-built modern surgery, which will also be located in the city centre.

St Clements Surgery has provided healthcare for university students for many years and offer a range of services to suit the needs of all young adults, including:

  • online bookings (for limited appointment types)
  • submitting online requests (via Accurx Patient triage)
  • video link consultations
  • face to face GP and nurse appointments
  • same day access for urgent medical problems
  • electronic prescribing
  • Physiotherapist first contact practitioners,
  • primary care pharmacist
  • long term contraception clinics.

We also have mental health support and welfare teams available should you need them, including CBT therapists, social prescribers and wellbeing practitioners, who work closely with the Student Support Wellbeing services where appropriate.

If you would like to join St Clements surgery, please complete the new patient registration form. There is no need to send ID or proof of address.
